Overall, this product is magnificent and is the best tasting cereal bar avaiable in my opinion. However, at Walmart, you may buy 12 boxes of the 6-pack for a total of $27.00. Check your local store before buying this product in bulk from Amazon!

Great Little Snack…But only on sale!

In my opinion these are better tasting than your intermediate “100 calorie pack” and ten less cals. They remind me of rice crispy treats, with a little more body and a little less crunch. The drizzle on top adds a nice flavor note. At regular Amazon price they’re rather pricey.

It depends…

I give this product 5 starts, but not for eating it as a cereal. I think that eating it plain/with milk is a little rough: as a cereal, I’d give it 2 stars. However, I LOVE using this stuff in yogurt (any flavor)–it adds more of a crunch than granola does–and it’s likewise fantastic when you put it on top of fruit (espeically strawberries and melons like canteloupe…not so much watermelon). I in truth like the Ezekiel 4:9 with almonds best!

And as an FYI, 22 bucks for 6 boxes is a outstanding deal. The cereal normally runs regarding $5-6 a box in-store.

I love this product! For those that find the taste bland, but are eating this for fiber, here is my suggestion: Mix little amounts (less than 1/4 cup) of each of the following in a bowl: this cereal, Fiber One cereal, Wheat and Bran Shredded Wheat cereal, raw almonds, raw walnuts, and raw pecans. Pour on your favored soy milk. It tastes great! I eat this each morning. No more disturb with getting my each day fiber intake!

A cereal for a sophisticated taste

I have tried all the FAMILIA cereals- I think there are 6- muesli and granolas – by trial and error this one – Familia Low-Fat- is for me perfective because I don’t like the granolas that are sweetened with honey- The Original Style Familias are actually for the most part just oatmeal and a few raisons – not a great value. This one has a large total of fruits and nuts without being too sweet.

A quality product from Bio-familia, a Swedish company that formulated “Birchermüesli” a product so frequent and successful that made the name Muesli widely known and esteemed all over the world.

If you need a high fiber and protein snack option for your diet, this is perfectly a very good product. Yours is the superior Muesli

Like another reviewer, I’ve sampled a number of the other Familia mueslis, and other granolas and mueslis at stores.

This is the superior muesli. (I’m eating some now to make sure I get this right…) I wouldn’t think of myself as a muesli commentator, but this stuff is astoundingly good so I had to chime in.

It has a good selection of dried fruit and nuts, plus a bit of dried rice and corn flakes for texture. I wasn’t specially looking for low-fat but that’s a bonus.

Very tasty to eat! I eat it with breakfast, and oftentimes as dessert after dinner.

There are other reasons that marriages may fail that are related to society. For one, in spite of a good deal of marriages failing or being unhappy, we live in a culture that romanticizes marriage. People are perpetually told they will find their soul mate, that if this kinship doesn’t workout, another will come along who might be “the one.” In reality, how many times are you competent to accurately predict who your “one” is? Most people getting married believe they found the one. And when that doesn’t work and they remarry, they many times believe this time they found the one. And this isn’t fixed only to those who marry. How a heap of people did you get romantically involved with who at a good deal of point you thought were in all probability “the one”? Perhaps this concept, which shows no signs of dying in spite of the proof versus it, is at worst mere wishful thinking, or at best, a long-shot.

Along with this idea of marriage being romanticized is the desire to plainly have a wedding. First, a wedding is a gorgeous thing. The pageantry, the pomp, and the beauty of it all results in it being majestic. Everyone will have to have one. It just doesn’t seem they must have to stay together for a limitless time as a result. In a recent discussion with a colleague who was talking about marriage, she reported she wanted to get married. It wasn’t that she inevitably wanted to marry the guy she was with, but that she wanted to get married to someone. She discussed the beauty of a wedding, and how it would be a shame to miss out on that. Everyone wants to be Cinderella or Prince Charming for a night. This is not not common thinking. But does the expectation have to be that they will stay together for a lifetime? (There was an article two years ago in regards to a politician in a European country advocating a law that marriages expire after seven years, with the probability to renew. Of course she was mocked and ridiculed).

Another point of discussion for why marriages may fail focuses on the fact that a lot of people get married before having been on their own. Recently one of my students, when talking about her relationship, in truth said she didn’t want to be alone for the rest of her life. She couldn’t have been more than 27, even though early 20′s is more likely. For a heap of reason this is a predominant fear in our culture (this could evolve into an existential discussion, but that is better placed in another article). There seems to be a myth that if you don’t find someone, and latch onto them, you will be lonely and miserable, perhaps for the rest of your life. Many persons seem to settle so they don’t have to face this fear. Ultimately, this fear becomes less predominant, and the person may leave the marriage. But the real culprit was the fear leading to settling.

Too often, marriage is an undertake to posses another. When persons love someone, they are afraid to let them go. People are scared of loss. And what better way to secure an individual than marriage? Marriage provides a {false} sense of security. It unquestionably makes ending the kinship more difficult.

But beyond just the fear of being alone is the fact that if you haven’t been on your own you are applied to a cycle of dependency. First humans are dependent on their caregivers. And if they go from this state to one of marriage, they have never genuinely been independent. There has always been somebody else helping out. Outside of merely being dependent, there is a level of maturation that comes from living on your own and not being in a romantic relationship. One learns to nurture oneself, to care for oneself, to be independent in the truest sense of the word. Unfortunately, a good deal of who enter marriage have never genuinely experienced this.

This discussion of personal growth leads me to another point with regards to how the altering times have altered individual’s character. These days more people are fascinated in their own personal growth. As people grow and modify the risk of growing isolated increases. When most humans in their forties think of what they were like in their twenties, they may ordinarily see the tremendous changes that have occurred. This is even truer when personal growth is a goal. And with one or even both collaborators growing and changing, the potential for growth in opposing directions is a possibility. And even if you don’t grow apart, there is the possibleness of a loss of attraction for your partner, and growing attraction for others you meet on your path.

Attraction is one of my favored areas of psychology. The reason one person is attracted to another is rich with possibility. For some, there is a reminiscence of something deeply enjoyed in the past. A client not long back discussed how the attraction to each of her recent relationships related to two important men in her life. This is splendid proof of this phenomenon.

For galore humans they believe this person they are with is the best they will ever be capable to get. Sometimes this comes from sensations of low self esteem, but this is not always the case. Often there is a bargaining procedure which goes on inside of us when taking into account a romantic partner. We have this much beauty, smarts, financial potential, humor, etc, and we want equivalent value. Too much value and we might be insecure. Too little, and well we are getting the short end of the stick. But beyond all of this is the most mutual reason one person is attracted to another: early childhood memory. This article is not the suitable place for this discussion, so I refer the reader to “A General Theory of Love” by Lewis, Amini, and Lannon.

In short the above book systematically provides a theory that purports that all experiences, but most significantly early childhood experiences, affect the selections we make in close relations. If we had dysfunction in our home, we proceed this pattern in other relations.

This leads to another reason marriages may not stay in tact as they applied to, and hence may be an outdated concept. Bluntly, pathology is less accepted now. In the past, abuse, issues of control, alcoholism, addiction, and mental disease were concealed in a closet. These days’ people are more psychologically informed. They are more conscious that being mistreated is not acceptable, that it is not a reflectiveness on them. They are less likely to tolerate conduct which contributes to their unhappiness. And furthermore, they are more likely than their predecessors to read self-help books, engage in therapy and resolve the issues that result in staying someplace they are unhappy. They are even more likely to resolve the issues that lead to the attraction to start out with, which would result in the attraction dissipating.

So is marriage an outdated concept? It is possible after reading this article you may think this author believes so. And for numerous people, I do believe marriage is an outdated concept. And I am not alone, altho likely in the minority (judging from the remarks posted on the article “On Marriage: Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off” posted on MSN June 228, 2009). But I do marriage counseling, and believe marriage is right for a good deal of other people. The goal is to find if you are right for marriage. And ultimately whether marriage is an outdated conception or not is a personal decision.

Some of the things you might look at before making the decision are your motivatings for marriage. Are you buying into a preconceived notion of what is supposed to be, without assessing your values? Have you been planning your wedding since you were young and do you just refuse to give up on the dream, irrespective of how your personality might affect long term commitment? Are you devoutly religious, and believe that delighting God comes before personal happiness? If you believe marriage is for you, and you have evaluated your motives, then far be it for any article to sway you. Just realize marriage is work, and it will be important to forgo your pleasure at times to maintain the marriage. And keep your hope. Even if marriage is an outdated concept, every one has the right to make the selections they make. Good luck on your path.

This product must qualify for some sort of deceptive packaging award. The box only holds 5 bars and the wrappers are littler than normal, so at least 50% of the interior of the box is air. Then when you unwrap the bar you find they are only when it comes to 60% the length of a “normal” snack bar. The rest of it is empty air inside the wrapper. If they were to not include wrappers those 5 bars would occupy less than 25% of the space inside the box.
